After being away from the podium for almost three decades, Erik Malm has resumed his role as a conductor.

In front of an orchestra once again, he has taken on works such as the powerful last movement of Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5, and Schubert’s ‘Unfinished’ Symphony No. 7 in B-minor. These recordings were made in collaboration with the Malmö Opera orchestra, to give an idea of what a performance looks and sounds like with Erik Malm on the conductor’s podium.

By combining his conducting skills with his vision as a photographer and narrator, Erik Malm creates a multi-dimensional experience that pushes the boundaries for how art can be experienced and understood.
