After being away from the podium for almost three decades, Erik Malm has resumed his role as a conductor.
In collaboration with the Malmö Opera Orchestra, he has performed works such as Symphony No. 7 in B minor ‘Unfinished’ by Franz Schubert, and the final movement of Symphony No. 5 by Dmitri Shostakovich.
These recordings offer an impression of his musical interpretation and artistic direction.
Following this phase, he has undertaken extensive work to further develop and refine his conducting back to a professional level.
Today, conducting forms an integral part of the larger artistic vision behind Dedicated to Life.
